Te Manawa Pou has provided me with confirmation and confidence in what I teach in Te Reo Maaori. I will gain a better understanding of the Maaori Curriculum and have access to resources needed to implement successful lessons and assessments. I look forward to extending my knowledge of Taha Maaori, and sharing this with ngaa tamariki katoa. The name 'Te Manawa Pou' speaks for itself! Kia Ora Koutou Katoa.

Tomorrow is our Matariki celebration at Manu's kohanga reo.  I have set myself the goal of introducing myself in te reo to other parents.  I'm very nervous but I will ask my partner for help with this.

Kia kaha Helen - you'll be fantastic! :-) Dee
