WEBINAR 2: Preparing your school for BYOD (25 March 2014, 3.45 – 4.45pm.)

This is the second of two webinars supporting schools as they connect to the N4L managed network.

This webinar explores how to approach Bring Your Own Device (BYOD). As ICT infrastructure in schools changes (with SNUP, WIFI and the managed network) we know BYOD is now top of mind for many schools. The webinar will include presentations from Churton Park School (Wellington) and Mount Aspiring College (Wanaka).

Topics covered may include: device choices, community involvement, and device management. There will also be a short panel discussion with representatives from the Ministry and N4L. We invite you to ask questions, share your own practice, and discuss how you and your school are taking advantage of learning with digital technologies to address the particular learning and achievement challenges you are facing.

This will be archived and available online later via the Ministry’s online support resources: Connecting to the N4L managed network
