Workshop to be delivered by Max Riley (Nayland College) at the NZAMT-13 conference in Wellington.

This workshop is on the Thursday 2:50pm-4:00pm workshop slot.

Abstract:
"How did the Nayland Maths website evolve? Any realigned standards there?
What would you want a classroom website for anyway? What about a department site?
A website? Wiki? Blog? Google site? Moodle? Which is best? Why?
The digital natives aren’t that native. Why have I gone back to pen & paper with the BYOD class? What’s so good about 3 white boards in one classroom?
Teacher laptop? Tablet? What about a webcam on a light stand?

Answers to these and a bunch more ideas about teaching mathematics based on the Nayland Maths website, incorporating ICT into classroom teaching, traditional techniques to keep, problems, issues & options. Check out the Nayland site beforehand and come along with a bunch of questions.
