You will need to ensure your computer is ready to launch a desktop application to view this workshop in Blackboard Collaborate (formerly called Elluminate). If you have already used Blackboard Collaborate before, you will not need to do the following.
Please go to Blackboard Collaborate First Time Users/Checking system requirements and see if you have the green tick. If you do, congratulations you may move to the next part of the set up. If you see the red cross you need to follow the instructions to download Java Web Start.
If you are unable to do this, please contact your own technical support people immediately. If you can download it and the red cross changes to a green tick, then it's time to move onto the next step.
Join the Configuration Room to test your connection and configure your audio. To view the hardware and software pre-requisites for Blackboard Collaborate, please visit www.elluminate.com/support
We recommend you login from at least 3pm to give yourself time to trouble shoot. Contact your admin support in the first instance if you are having issues. It is recommended you wear a set of headphones, headsets or echo cancellation microphone/speakers to help avoid any sound issues. Please feel free to contact Tessa prior to this meeting, if you have any queries.
We look forward to connecting with you during this time.
Comments
To help make this webinar a truly interactive experience, we'd love for you to bring your own stories about ways you have used iPads to deliberately meet your own learners' needs. There will be opportunities to ask questions and share these stories during that time.
This way, alongside Josie's experiences, we can compile and share a resource that others can access after the webinar.
Thank you to the people who have already registered for a live audence with Josie Woon. We are processing your requests and will email you individually soon, to let you know what to expect prior to Wednesday, 3.45-4.345pm, 27th March.

Kia ora Tessa,
Do the webinars get recorded at all? I couldn't make it due to a school visit.
Thanks Bruce.
