Teddy in a windowKia ora i te whānau, Day 2 Level 4. I trust you’re all well and truly settled in now and that you and your whānau are safe and transitioning into a new routine of living and working together from home.

The Enabling e-Learning whānau joins you from afar and wishes you all the best in the coming weeks. Please take a break, enjoy your surroundings and loved ones during this time. If at some stage, your priority is to think about achievable ways to support yourselves and your ākonga during this time, keep an eye on this space.

In the meantime, there are many relevant updates for schools in the Ministry bulletin for school leaders (26 March), with key dates, lock down messages and resources to support schools to design and implement distance learning and most importantly, support wellbeingThere is also some useful information about your and your whānau’s well being in Reachout.com. (Australian support website).  Heart in hands

Remember to be kind to yourselves and take one day at a time.

On a lighter note, seen any teddy bears in your neighbourhood lately? Coronavirus: Teddy bears brighten first day of lockdown if you want to get involved, see, NZ-Bearhunt
