Not sure if you missed it, but over the past three weeks, Prime TV has profiled a three part series looking at the complexities of bullying in our country. Scary to read, "...the records show school bullying in NZ is one of the highest rates in the OECD."

The TV episodes highlighted the insidious and danger consequences of cyberbullying and made references to the new cyberbullying law that can and will see the prosecution of cyberbullies as a criminal offence where, "intentionally causing harm by posting a digital communication, is punishable by up to two years' imprisonment or a maximum fine of $50,000." Herald: Controverisal cyberbullying law passes.

Are your young people and their parents aware of this new legislation? What else do you think can be/should be done to address this growing concern?
