Tēnā tatou e ngā hunga kaiako.

Recently I have been further developing my knowledge and understanding of the Teaching as Inquiry process as a framework for critically evaluating our practice and improving outcomes for all students.  This has lead to quite a transformation in the way that I use and think about the framework Spirals of Inquiry.

I am eager to share my new learning and to discuss the use of this framework in a wider forum, but for now, I would like to gather the thoughts, ideas and practices of our Māori Medium and Bilingual education programmes huri-rauna i te motu.

Te Rangitukutuku is an effective self review tool for kura, students and whānau to review e-Learning practices.  What other review tools does your kura use? I would love to hear your thoughts about the following:

  1. Is your kura using the Teaching as Inquiry framework?
  2. If you are, how are you using it?
  3. If you are not, what practices does your kura have in place to critically evaluate teaching adn learning practices?

Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou katoa.
