He uri ahau nō Mataatua waka, nō Tūhoe me Te Whakatohea iwi, he kaitakawaenga Māori mō LwDT.  Ngā mihi ki a tātou katoa. Tikanga of karakia starting a hui is automatic, its a norm present in my whānau life and my work life. When meeting with colleagues face to face, we start and conclude hui with karakia and waiata. So it seemed only natural to continue this practice when meeting in a virtual environment, using online tools such as skype, google hangout, appear.in - although the time lag in google hangout often makes for an interesting waiata session laugh....How do you and your akonga maintain tikanga Māori in a virtual environment? What tikanga transposes naturally in to an online environment?

Ngā mihi, nā Daph
