Since the 28th July 2014 the eLearning Planning Framework (eLPF) online tool has been live to all schools/kura on the Enabling E-Learning (EEL) site with full instructions. There is also a Word doc Using the eLPF online tool.docx that you can dowload and refer to or print out to have beside you as you set up and administer your account and surveys. Access to the tool can be found here for schools administrators to request access to create a user account on the website. Once you have created your account you can then manage your schools surveys within the e-Learning Planning Framework online tool. The MMeLPF /te Rangitukutuku (Maori Medium eLPF) tool is also now available as a download on EEL.
If you have used the eLPF online tool or Te Rangitukutuku please share your stories here about your journey.
What better way to find out how schools are using the eLPF electronic tool, than to listen to them talking about the process in person?
Yesterday, Enabling e-Learning and the Ministry of Education hosted a LIVE webinar, Using the e-Learning Planning Framework as a tool for strategic planning and staff development where Gaylene Preston, principal of Glenview School and Barb Keane from Tua Marina School talked about how each of their schools have used the self-review tool - to plan 'change for the future'.
Gaylene talked about how her school undertook the consultation process to collect the data, that now informs future actions in their school. For a more in-depth explanation of Gaylene's story, watch the webinar recording.
Barb highlighted how their e-learning developments have tied in beautifully with their continued focus on culturally responsive practices and shared photos of these developments in action. To gain a better appreciation for Barb's story, view the webinar recording.
LWDT facilitators Kathe Tawhiwhirangi and Greg Carroll supported the conversations and gave a background into the historical development of the e-Learning Planning Framework tool and talked briefly about what the tool has become today – an internationally recognised framework for building e-learning capability and capacity across a school.
