Punctuation Grammar Check for Docs
Does anyone know of an extension or addon which will check for punctuation, grammar errors within docs? I have searched and found some like Grammarly but they don't seem to work within docs. I don't want to have to send students to Word just to check for those types of errors!

Grammarly is the evergreen tool for the grammar punctuation and spell error and available for chrome extention. If you want to fix the grammar for differ language then i have found online punctuation checker to fix the grammar and punctuation error differ 26 languages.

Yes. If you sign in as a student you need to provide a parent's email address to give permissions.

i'm trying this (SAS) out now...when i signed in, i had to confirm i was over 18. was that because i clicked "teacher?"

Hi all
Try SAS Writing Reviser - It is awesome and offers a huge number of features for punctuation checking at all levels. It is divided into 4 sections with more options under each heading:
- sentence economy
- sentence variety
- sentence power
- sentence clarity
It opens as a side bar on Google Docs. To load it Open Google Docs, go to the Add Ons tab, click "Get Add On's" and search it by name.

Hi all
I have reviewed Grammarly and found it about the same as the tool in Microsoft Word. Unfortunately it is really costly. It did not find Ginger as good in my tests.
There is no other free solution that I am aware of. The ReadWrite for Google tool does not have a grammar checker.

I use Grammerly is it a Chrome app. It will check spelling, grammer and let you know you need a comma etc..

Has anyone found a suitable punctuation checker for Google docs? Most apps I've looked at will check spelling and some grammar, but not punctuation.

Have you tried Google Read and Write. Another Chrome Store extension.
