Hello everyone.

Is anyone using ePortfolios with their junior students?

How is it working in your class, for you, students? Would anyone like to share how you manage this with students and what tool/platform you are using? Would appreciate your ideas and examples if possible, please.

Thanks! Smile

We are using Ultranet in our Yr 1 class at Lincoln Primary. We are a colloborative class with 2 teachers and 37 children. We have just starting using the app this term.

We love it because the children complete their Explain Everything or read onto the Puppet Pal app and they can upload their own work through the  Ultranet app. Anything that the children save onto the camera roll from an app can be saved in the media gallery.

Therefore there is no double handling by the teacher onto the teachers computer.

Or  for the very young ones we upload them through the app after school and it takes 1 minute to do. So quick and easy.

We are able to upload photos,  eg from their Inquiry and then record their voice to explain their ideas.  Some of your work samples can be seen on our class blog.

    Hi Kellie

Thank you so much for sharing how and what you use at your school! Much appreciated. Smile

I use kidblog as ePortfolio with my students  http://kidblog.org/Little-Giants2014/. It is easy to tag posts (helps with evidence for OTJ) and students enjoy having their own blog to share their learning.
