I use the locable resource room that is in the back of my classroom, combined with a multibox.

At Tapanui we also have a "Griffin" - it will take up to 10 iPads and both recharges and syncs them overnight. Put this in a cupboad with a powersupply and you're away. We leased ours with the iPads over 3 years.
Abbie has also said above about her resource space which is lockable ... we also have power into cupboards in the Junior rooms and the iPads can be charged out of sight overnight.
Within a loacked class cupboard, a 'homemade provides a cost effect method of charging and syncing devices when required. A simple store box to hold devices and then a USB hub does the same as any Griffin like option - $20 as oposed to nearly $1000 for the same job (all depending on numbers etc, where we have spread the hubs so more access and ease of use). Its just an option and cost saving idea. Used as a kids inquiry and box built by the kids! Image demonstrates...

Hi Richie - we use inexpensive wire dishracks that stack the ipads nicely. We have a multibox attached to the side of it to plug in the ipads for charging. And they all get locked away in the interactive whiteboard cupboard at nights.
