I have been working in an MLE for a term now with 72 students and two other teachers. While the environment is modern and we have great access to IT to support learning, I am wondering about how we shift/or align our pedagogy. We have a home group of students and we cross group for literacy and maths but this could easily be achieved in single cell classrooms. Where is the point of difference?
Hi Linda, Our school is about to be rebuilt and we will move to MLEs within the next year. Although I can find lots of information about design and furniture etc, I can't find a lot about pedagogy, and like you would be interested to hear from others. I hope you don't mind that I am not from Hibiscus Coast area.
Hi Meriel,
Great to have you join a discussion. i am just looking at a blog from Chris Bradbeer which has some material around the pedagogy of MLE environments. A couple of books in there might be worth a read! Link is below
