Check out this stunning video by Ryan Lamour rapping about difference. Ryan lives with autism.

If anyone knows of any NZ based videos like this, please share them on :-)

"No one is the same but we are so equal" What awesome talent and with such a powerful message.

I love this from Nakita Turner (15 years old!) singer song writer who has recently released her collaborative single "One Voice" about anti-bullying. How important is student voice!

You may have seen 10 year old Oceana Olsen that made it to the grand final of New Zealands Got Talent last year. Although not her own song, her first audition of Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" brought the judges to tears. Such a gorgeous, funky and extremely talented young girl. Oceana has a rare genetic condition called pseudo chondrodysplasia, and undergoes regular surgeries to help the bones in her legs grow straight. However she doesn’t let this condition define her, and says it makes her more motivated to keep singing!

I wonder how many of our students are music stars just wanting to be heard.
