Are you interested in a 'Connected Rotorua Teachers' Group?

At the central North f2f in Rotorua, several teachers approached me about getting together to share elearning ideas. 
 
After seeing the Connected Taupo initiative discussed by Leigh Hynes and Melanie Matthews, we decided we better get onto it.

We are aiming to have our first meeting after school on Friday February 14 2014. We've chosen Friday for the first meeting because we don't want people to have conflicts with other school meetings.  All teachers who are interested in making connections with others using digital technologies for teaching and learning will be welcome. The time and venue are to be advised but it would be in the Rotorua area, possibly at Mokoia Intermediate to begin with.

This form is to register your interest and for us to collect information and ideas from you on how you would like to meet.

Our aim at this point is to gauge an interest from Rotorua teachers (and surrounding areas) who are interested in learning with Digital Technologies and sharing ideas, resources and practices on a regular basis.
