Hi
im wanting to print some photos from our class ipad. Does anyone know how to set up a printer on the Ipad?
We have a Konica and have installed Printopia on a school PC/Mac. Then we can use the Air Print feature that comes standard on the iPads. It has been problem free. We tried and moved away from Pagescope.
We are using pagescope too. It is the only app that can work on our particular konica printer. It is a bit buggy, and their tech support team don't know a lot about it, but it is fine for printing photos.
Yes we have installed a free app called 'pagescope' (all one word) and it works well. It comes on your desktop as PS Mobile.
Our school has a Ricoh copier and we use smartdevprint without any hassles from our ipads.
We use Printopia also - Fantastic for getting anything to your comp as well as to any printer that is connected to your computer
Hi Mike, We have had an app installed on our ipads (pagescope) this, once set up, allows us to print to our Konica Minolta photocopiers. We got in touch with Konica Minolta and they recommended this to us and it works fine. Regards Cathy
We use PRINTOPIA, a programe which sits on 1 PC/MAC in the school. All iPads print through that without issues
Has anyone figured out a way to access a photocopier (we have a ricoh) that has papercut on it without having to send it to a dropbox? I suppose I am trying to avoid multihandling.
I use eprint app with out Ricoh photocopier. All you need is the ip address. You can get a free app to trial, which I did and then I put the app because it worked so well.
Hi Cindy
I use Brother iPrint&Scan to print to my black and white Brother classroom printer and SmartDevPrint to print to the Ricoh photocopiers.
I find they both work fine for my needs. The SmartDevPrint app needs the IP address of the printer to connect.
