Help please, I was able to watch you tube clips but now can't and have no idea why. It says I need flash player but cannot install adobe as it clashes with iPads. I cannot understand how I could watch some clips and now cannot.

Also, have you installed the free youtube app?
On my iPad this auto-innitiates whenever I open a youtube video, and I've yet to meet one which didn't work this way....?

AS I understand it- some videoes are encoded the old fashioned way using Flash. And others using the newer html5 format that doesn't use Flash.
Happily corrected by cleverer geeky people than me!

You shouldn't need Flash Player to view You Tube. If you need to view FLASH, try using Puffin Web browser. It allows iPad using to view and use Flash Player
