How To Get Students Excited To ‘Do’ Science

GLOBE. The Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment Program (GLOBE) is an international science and education program that connects to a worldwide network of teachers, students and scientists to better understand the Earth as a system.

This worldwide hands-on, primary and secondary school-based science and education program is one way to:

  • blend science with social learning (discussion forums, data sharing)
  • use inquiry based practices in science
  • use of the web and e-learning tools
  • keep current with global scientific trends
  • promote collaboration and participation
  • provide data that feeds into international global trends in science research
Does this sound like something for you and yours students?
