Hi everyone,
I've developed a teaching and learning tool called MyChatPack which we've been trailling on a PC up until tonight when we finally became web-based!! This has been a project my class and I have worked on for nearly a year.
My question is that while it will work on PC / Mac now, I need it to work on iPads. The video tool which is part of the software needs Flashplayer in order to record. I've tried Photon and iSwifter but can't get the video to record.
Looking for some wise heads to help on this one please. (I'm in a challenge with the programmer who thinks it can't be done) ;-)
Thanks in advance
Justine
sorry to burst your bubble - but Flash and iOS don't go together...Apple refuse to support it.
another ipad web browser that can handle flash video would be Rover. the only problem with Rover, photon, and iswifter, is they convert the flash video to html5 through their servers and stream it to the ipad, so playback isn't the best.
You should try to switch your program to handle html5, instead of Flash, which is probably on borrowed time.
Hi Eric
Thanks for your reply. It's what I knew was probably the case. We're working on the html5 now and I'll just have to learn to be patient!

Try the browser Puffin on the iPad, there is a free version for a limited time but th paid version is etter. I use Puffin for all sorts of flash dependent websites no like Mathletics or to book flights for work
