Hi everyone

As you're probably aware, an excellent school library can support your students in many ways, especially in engaging readers and supporting inquiry, curating content to support your teaching programmes, and working with students to support their reading and research at all levels.

As your students will be learning both in and outside the classroom, they need 24/7 access to the library and its resources - print and online.

We've developed a new online course to help you develop an engaging web presence enabling 24/7 access to your library.

School libraries online: engaging your learners 24/7

This 5-week online course is aimed at literacy leaders, ICT leaders, teachers and school library staff. A collaborative approach is essential to achieve an effective online presence that meets the needs of your school community, and this course will support you through your planning for this.

The first intake for this course is 19 August, followed by intakes starting 16 Sept and 21 Oct.

Just a reminder that we offer a 20% earlybird discount for registrations that come in no later than 4 weeks before start date.

Best wishes

Janet
