Hi, just wondering - what are the benefits for your class of using Dropbox as well as Google apps? Is one preferrable? I know that with Dropbox it is a place to save their work and access anytime anywhere, but is Google apps not the same? Would appreciate any feedback before launching our class into using one or other, or both!

I use dropbox at the moment but only because we havent quite completed our google app set up. i imagine once this is up and running I wont need dropbox really. I found it a goo tool t teach the idea of sharing work amongst the class in a simple format though. Smile

Google Drive in Google Apps does a similar thing.  If you create a shared folder with a class, everthing you drag & drop in there is shared the same settings as the folder.

Dropbox does pretty much the same thing, I use both.  Con of Dropbox is teaching kids to copy not drag the file out, or you lose it.

So for a class, I'd go with Drive.
