Have a look at this conversation between Joel Klein and Sir Ken Robinson (The Economist), discussing what school should look like if it is to take account of the students within them. Robinson says that:

"We have never had a world that looks like the one we have now... Technology is advancing at a staggering rate... Radical reform is essential"...And yet what engages students and helps them learn is ages old.
