The Enabling e-Learning community turned one last month Cool !

The sleepless nights are nearly behind us and we've moved on to solid conversation, running, and finding our way in the big wide world. We love playing with friends in other groups across the VLN, and blended networks through NZ and beyond.

To celebrate your loyalty and participation, we've captured the best of the action in this infographic (better than cake, we think;). Awesome thanks to Tessa and her creative use of technology for pulling all the stats together beautifully.

And of course, the biggest thanks go to all of you for reading, sharing, discussing, bookmarking, subscribing, liking and generally joining in the party. Can you see yourself in here?

Roll on our second year...

Did you know?

  • Enabling e-Learning is both a website on TKI and a collection of community spaces in the VLNTwitter and Facebook. We publish a weekly blog digest of all your e-learning kōrero across the VLN.
  • Enabling e-Learning provides 'resource and discourse' around each of the five dimensions of the e-Learning Planning Framework, helping schools move forward on their e-learning journey.
  • Enabling e-Learning groups are facilitated by the Te Toi Tupu Blended e-Learning team, on behalf of the Ministry. We work in schools across New Zealand as part of the ICT PD and Blended e-Learning programmes...and, through the power of networks like the VLN Groups, we can work with all the other schools and kura in between, too.

Ka pai!! Great to have come so far in such a short time. Feeling like I am truly part of a NZ wide community of learners.  All of us are collaborating for the benefit of all the learners in our schools. This is why NZ is world class in education Smile. Specifically, the eLPF and Enabling eLearning community is giving a structure to our developments. This is ensuring that the current major stepchange we are all doing with regard to eLearning, will be effective long term.
