I've been accepted as a member to a closed group, but can't seem to add new content. Some other members can add content, some can't. Does anyone know how to solve this problem or have any ideas?

Anyone who has been approved as a group member should be able to add different types of content (i.e. post a discussion, create a page, blog post etc), depending on what tools are available to the group - the tools that the group owner has chosen to use will be listed in the left-hand margin.
So, you might want to check:
If the answer to both is 'yes', and you still can't add any content, get back to us.

I'm logged in and have been accepted by the group owner - still the same. Thought I might try leaving the group and rejoining... unless you have any other ideas??

I am pretty sure you have to be a moderator in a group to add new content or change content. Request this from the groups owner - they will have a Manage Group Moderators on their left hand menu.
...And the moderator can set write access on any area or article, remember.

I emailed the group owner and told her about the group moderator suggestion. Then volià it was fixed I'm assuming that's how my problem was solved!!
