There is an increasing number of schools who are now using the e-Learning Planning Framework to 'roadmap' their strategic planning and inform their inquiries.
Several examples have already been shared in the Enabling e-Learning: Leadership group on what this might look like for schools.
Here is another approach, kindly shared by Suzie Vesper, who has been working with teachers as they inquire into their own use of e-learning with their students.
She has developed templates to structure discussion..and says that these sheets have been designed as a way of recording progress against the e-Learning Planning Framework. There are three sheets:
Staff would be supported to complete these sheets through opportunities to unpack what each statement might look like and to develop a shared understanding of the language in the framework, before planning their next steps as an action plan or inquiry.
In addition to the useful resources above, Suzie Vesper has also created a planning template that combines the 'teaching as inquiry' cycle with references to the e-Learning Planning Framework.
I can also see how the e-learning goals referenced in the Registered Teacher Criteria and e-learning wiki could be useful in Suzie's template as well.
