Looks like the fantastic movement of TED is looking to channel some of those inspiring speakers towards education. They say their new resource - http://education.ted.com/ - will be coming in April 2012. Meanwhile, here's their new channel on YouTube, with an intro:

This will be awesome and look foward to the content. I am allready using TED on a daily basis.

I gave the concept of a flipped TED-Ed resource a bit of a work out and quite liked how the 'lesson' came together.

You need to be vary careful with how you construct it as I made a spelling error and can't work if you can or how to edit it.
We used a TED video in my Yr5 class this week as a conversation starter after reading the Lorax on the iPad.
I would recommend watching for both personal and professional learning:
