Maybe we can start off by all adding one app that we really like?
You can use the Wordpress app to blog to edublogs. All you need to do when adding your blog in Wordpress is to choose the self-hosted blog option, then put in your edublogs address and your user details...
At Selwyn Ridge we use the WordPress app, but also self host multiple Wordpress blogs on our server. The advantage of this is that page and image uploads are almost instantaneous, and movie uploads take seconds (literally). The blogs are all still accessible from the web, but we retain control on our server.
Gotta love WordPress!
I think it's been mentioned before but I used StopMotion Studio to produce a great intro video for our 200+ club last week, it's a super easy app to use and creates great stop motion videos. Will be one that features a lot in our weekly news program I think.

I am a Supplementary Learning Support Teacher, and the IPad 2 has been the best teaching tool ever! Some apps that have been favourites are Hungry Fish, Rocket Maths, Friends of 10, Teaching Number Lines, MultiTouchMath, Montessori Sequencing in Maths.
In literacy, Word Magic, Build A Word, Sight Words 2, and the Wonky Donkey (IBook) has been a favourite. Constantly searching for more

The deal is that you write a book on your iPad. You can upload photos, draw yourself or use your own photos.
Then it exports happily to wherever but the kicker is that you can order a hardcopy as well. It arrives as proper book with thick card pages that would be durable in good quality.
It would be a cool reminder of a special child's story.
We have been using MYStory App with young children for storytelling with great success. It is easy to use, and enables children to draw, use and take photoes, record voices and write stories before sharing a publishable version. The developers are working on making a print function for it but in the meantime have provided video instructions of how to print out books.
I have a question re: My Story- is there any way to make the paintbrush/pencil tip smaller? I can only get one size and it is hard to do detailed pictures.
