Maybe we can start off by all adding one app that we really like?
Loving Pearl Diver. A fun app that requires speed, timing, knowledge of part numbers, ordering etc. Lots of fun. Progressively gets harder and includes little activities in between to score extra points. AND its free
One of my fav apps, and the most used one for me is the WordPress app. We self host wordpress on our server, so uploading content (video, images and text) is super fast, and instantly available on the web. The app itself is very basic, with a very simple User Interface, which is an important consideration.
As we get more iPads in classrooms, I can see that this will be one of the primary ways of sharing learning from iPads to the wider community. And because WordPress is the foundation for blogger, edublogs, and most other blogging tools, they should work with the iOS app as well.

@inneskennard showed me this app and I am transfixed. Just magic for a book. YOu have to pay for it but it's cheap $6 and well worth it.
Hi All
It is great to see so many sharing!
We are focusing on fractions in our class at the moment (I think many Primary classrooms are). I use two apps for my kids to practice on. The first one app that my special needs boy loves is called "Pizza Fractions: Beginning with simple fractions" (I think it was free). The other one my Year 6 kids really enjoy and there is heaps of scope for them to be challenged in it is called "Fractions App" (I think this one was $1.29 but it is worth it). You can view some tutorials or get tested on what you know.
I can' help myself but one that you want to have on your iPad while the RWC is on is the "Official Rugby World Cup 2011 App." It gives you live updates of the current games through the Match Centre, news, videos, team info, pools, knock outs and has a fan zone for those who want to go hard!
More from iPads in Education - What are your essential classroom Apps?
Loving all the tips on good apps here. Just wanted to share my find of the day- GoDocs - an app that supports google apps. It is brilliant!
Access, read, and edit docs, access my reader list... It even let's me have more than one account accessible at any time so now I can have my school account and personal account on the go together.
Loving it!
Sounds like just what I wanted. Downloading as we speak. It's been an expensive weekend on the downloading apps department!!!!
Thanks for sharing your app.
I've just had my new app Number Find accepted in the App Store. Yay! You can find the app here -

It works easy as. You select the photos you want to send to your computer.
It gives you a web address to go to which I have bookmarked on my toolbar.
They turn up as a zip file on your desktop.
Done
I've just installed Splashtop Whiteboard. This is a teacher tool that allows remote access to your projector connected laptop from your ipad. The app allows you to access all files on your computer and annotate them. The app also lets you load pages with lines, grids, venn diagrams, and place the usual shapes on them. Also there is a screen reveal and spotlight. Bit pricey at $24.99 but quite a useful tool given that you can pass it round the classroom and children can "write on the whiteboard" from their desk. Flipcharts and screenshots are saved on your computer.
