Hi there... I have just tried to upload a You Tube clip into a subgroup page using the HTML widget. It appears that it is there after I save it and then when I close the window and go back to view it in the group/subgroup main page...it does not appear. Please help:)
Hi Jeanette,
Can you let me know the url of the page that should have the video on it? Then we'll try to get it sorted out for you:-)
Warm regards
Karen
Hi Karen
The url is: /pg/groups/35739/elearners-team-at-putauaki/
The embed code is: <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="510" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/WmMUi8JB_Yc?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Thanks Jeanette:)
Can't find any obvious issues so have referred it to the tech guys - may be a bug. Watch this space:-) And many thanks for your patience, Jeanette.
Cheers
Karen
Reason it is not working is because youtube has just updated their embed codes! Thanks for reporting this. I will fix it up now and you will then be able to embed your video :)
Thanks for your help everyone
Hiya i have already logged this in an email ages ago somewhere but can't find it easier just to post it here.
Google maps embedding not working (Chrome)
Is it possible to embed a swf file into a page?
Unfortunately not. While you can upload swf files through the files tool, there is noway to embed it currently. Is the file concerned hosted somewhere or a local file on your machine? If your after a quick fix, you could convert the swf to a file format that is accepted by youtube?
Hi. When I try to post a video in a comments box below a blog post. I click the upload video, but I can't get to the embed tab because the video in the actual blog post is obscuring the box. If the upload box opened further down my screen it would work. Any ideas?
