It can seem overwhelming - there are a multitude of technologies out there and everyone has their own view on what's important. Adam Bellow (ISTE Young Educator of the Year) posted the following article in Edutopia:

I also liked the advice offered in, You Don't Have to Be A Technology Whiz But You Do Need to Be Fearless, where the author notes how students learn from us as role models, so how we react to new things and change influences them as well.
Her eight tips as advice for teachers include: not juding or blaming the tools, giving things a go (more than once), playing, asking questions and seeking help. But most importantly, Be fearless. “
