    Tēnā koe e Lynne,

Our awesome friends @coreeducation have developed a resource'He Kupu i Kore!'

    He Kupu i Kore

There are two components to this resource. The first is a four-player board game for students working at Taumata 1 to 4. The game encourages them to build words from whānau pū, and as they climb the poutama to be the first at “te kete mātauranga” they collect taonga on the way to boost their points. The player with the highest score is the winner.

The second component is a an app for iOS and android that allows the children to play against the computer, in their own time, at their own place.

Board game available at Down The Back of The Chair.

    GrassHopper Apps

Grasshopper apps have a voice-over/create function where ākonga could be recording as an activity.

    Tēnā koe e Dianne,

Please find a link below to a pdf which was developed by Michele Kire (2011) for use in Māori Medium PLD Pāngarau.   Many of our Tai Tokerau Kaiako have this double sided & laminated on A3 to help with planning for Pāngarau and also to help with OTJs and Moderation.
