I recently attended the Google Teachers Academy in Sydney (2014) and am now a GCT-Google Certified teacher.
I presented at the recent GAFE Summit in Chch. about how my Syndicate is using GAFE to empower students and lead to student agency in the classroom. I have been recently involved with Indonesian teachers, sharing and training the use of GAFE. I presented at the NZPF conference this year on creating global online collaboration (partnerships btwn. schools).
My students all have e-portfolios that they use to record their learning and reflect on their next learning steps.
I am active on twitter, google plus (GEGNZ)
Our school has a radio station and news team, so we are pretty heavily involved in interesting and creative uses of technology. We use 50 chromebooks, macs and ipads. I hold a coding club once a week with an active bunch of around 20 student who love exploring scratch, code academy etc..
We teach in a MLE/ILE/MLP acronomyn fantastic envirnoment that encourages flexibility, collaboration and student agency. I am presenting on this at ULearn 2015 with my Syndicate Leader.
We are always interested in using and trialling new technologies in the classroom-future focused learning is a big part of what we do.

Get students to create google forms-surveying-literacy tasks-ie you can embed youtube videos within forms-repsonses to those videos....whole class literacy data...

    google drawings for static images

google add ons like mindmeister for effective brainstorms
