- Stefan Reussenzehn 19 Jun 2013 3:43pm () in constructing a cone in planometric (graphics question)
I am struggling with the roof of a student't cone shaped tower. We are doing planometric instrumental drawings. Problem is that her radius is 30mm and the hight of the cone is 30mm as well. Therefore the tip of the cone sits exactly on the radius. She would like to show that it is a cone but tangent doesn't work and I haven't found anything online on wher the side lines have to come down to. (Would probably work if it was 50 mm high instead of 30...)

Any ideas how she can show that it is a cone without rendering it???
