    Thanks, Fiona.

As far as I can see, I am following those exact steps, however after creating 10 blogs, an error message pops up saying this blog cannot be created, you have created too many blogs in one day.

    Hi,

I am having a huge issue with Blogger this year.

It has a limit of 100 blogs per account, so I have made multiple accounts to enable me to make 220 student blogs. However, this year it is now coming up with an error message after 10 blogs, saying too many blogs have been created in one day.

I have left it overnight and now the error comes up after one blog!
Has anyone else had any issues like this, or has any easier ways to create these student blogs?

I use Actively Learn with my class and you are able to add music from Spotify to go with the writing. I am using this at the moment to analyse song lyrics, interpreting metaphors and exploring vocabulary. However, students must have a Spotify account, to be able to listen to the song.

I could just put a link to YouTube, but then the video plays which is sometimes inappropriate.

So my question is, am I breaking the Spotify terms and conditions to allow the students to create a Spotify account? The terms and conditions say that you must be 13 years old with parent permission. My students are 11 or 12. However, as the school owns their email accounts, can we get around this?

Would love to know your thoughts or ideas!

    Hi,

I know this is an old thread, but am hoping that people are still listening!

Sandy at Parkvale School is also an expert on this, especially if the school is interested in managing all of this themselves.

    Morena,

At Havelock North Intermediate we use GAFE, Hapara Teacher Dashboard and Google Classroom. GAFE and Hapara are in all classes and Classroom is being trialed in some rooms and some Tech classes.

We currently have half of our school in a One to One environment and the rest working in One to Two, but next year we will have all One to One rooms. This will be a mixture of BYOD and school provided devices.

We have had great success with our trials of Google Classroom, but definitely see this as running alongside Teacher Dashboard, not instead of.

We also have an ipad per class and sets which can be booked. We are definitely looking to increase our numbers of ipads next year.

We would be happy to have visitors come for a walk through.

    Hi,

My class have decided that they would like to create apps to teach kids or adults about fishing in a sustainable way.

Their ideas are simple, so the apps will not be too complex.

Does anyone know of any software that will allow them to design apps or games that can be played on mobile devices?
They have trialed Tiny Tap, but are disappointed that the app can't  be shared with other users.

    Morena,

We are currently trying to make plans for the end of the year. Our Year 8 students are moving on to high school, so we need to make thoughtful decisions about their Drive accounts and Blogs.

I would love to know what other schools are doing to transfer ownership of their student learning. The last thing that we want is for our students to have no record of their achievements from the past two years!

Our current plan is for students to share their work with a personal gmail address, then make that new email address Is Owner. In regards to the blog, we are looking into printing their blogs as books or transferring the ownership of this to their personal email address also.

I would love to know your thoughts or plans!

    Hey everyone,

Have been trialling Classroom for the past couple of weeks and really enjoying the ability to return items and edit student grades. My class are finding it really easy to see how they have achieved and where they can make improvements.

Don't see it as completely taking over the role of TD but love the cost factor!

Has anyone found a way to collate the results from all of the assignments in a class? So I can see a class list with marks for maths, with all of the math assignment results collated or showing in one palce?

That is the same with our devices. I have heard that it is because in order to have the devices located properly, you are suppossed to purchase the Meraki Wireless Access Points. We just ignore the location part and use icloud to Find my Ipad if we need to know where  an ipad is.
