Aue arohamai Dianne - for some silly reason I had my notifications off and didn't see this message. I don't know of any english translations available for Levels 2 & 3. I am thinking that maybe you could post any sections that you need translated here and I'll get the team in to help you out. Ngā mihi (tūreiti) ki a koe e hoa.

This wānanga is designed to support teachers who are working in immersion Māori kura or settings and will also benefit those who teach in English medium and have a passion for te reo. Many teachers are already capable with different devices, but let’s look at what technology is out there to support te reo Māori language development.

Kia ora koutou
Have you got some good ideas to share about how you're using apps other than, Google Docs, Google Sheets and/or Google Slides???
If you don't already know you can connect more apps to your Google Drive - By clicking on 'More'.
I have some favourites: MOVENOTE, POWTOON etc.
When you click on 'More' you have the option to 'Connect more apps' - The Box below will appear.
Scroll through and select apps that you may want to use.
What are your best apps and how are you using these apps with your students?
Feel free to add to this discussion post or share your ideas in this shared presentation via the link below:

Thanks for posting this Mary-Anne. A kura that I'm working in is also considering setting up a page.
We've looked at a few school pages already and are also deciding about who might best manage the space etc.
A school that I know of created a page for a specific event - There were regular reminders added prior to the event about activities planned, about help required and it also included regular updates about who was attending. Several people were notified through tags (tagging facebook friends in messages), and info was spread wider by those few sharing the info on by 'sharing' the post with other facebook friends.
Photographs and comments were shared during the event and it was awesome to check in as I wasn't able to attend myself.
After the event anonymous student reflections were shared about the day. Those are a few ideas to consider.
I'll be following this post for more Facebook tips and tricks.
I've come back in quickly and see there's a new group started here: Google Classroom - Aotearoa/NZ
Kia ora - I've enjoyed reading through the entries on this discussion post. Thanks for sharing. There are a few things I want to check out as a result. I thought I might just add that Google Classroom is now live and available to all - Here's the link: http://www.google.com/edu/classroom/
I'm interested to hear how others may have already used it as part of the trial period. I noted your using Hapara Louise - I've seen it, am aware of it...but I'm just wondering if Google Classroom is offering similar functions etc. Anyway I'm off to play with Google Classroom now...will get back in and share how my findings soon.
