Visarts Summary to 24th May 2020

Visarts summary -  to the 24th May 2020

Mālō le soifua...this week is Samoan language week - students appreciate the acknowledgement of this. Part of the richness of education in New Zealand is the aspiration to build relationships with students and whanau. Ensuring students see their various cultures reflected in our school environments and teaching is an important component of this.

Maybe this week is a good chance for you to increase your knowledge of 2020 Pasifika artists (recommended by Visarts members) so you can embed these established practices in your programmes - thank you to all of those who made suggestions for the updating of this resource.
