Tēnā koutou, talofa lava and welcome to the Enabling e-Learning PLD events planned for Term 2 2020. At the beginning of the year, I don't think any of us could have imagined, just how much how our focus on teaching and learning would change; where all schools/kura are now planning for distance learning - at home, from home.
We're not sure how long this will be a requirement going forward, but the fortunate thing is, we can continue to support each other virtually in our very own dedicated community online. This term Enabling e-Learning has planned a series of learning opportunities to support educators to find; timely, practical and exciting new ways to engage in learning, with the aid of technologies (and effective teaching strategies) online.
We have sought the support of educators with experience in designing for distance learning and have also curated some useful content in Enabling e-Learning (TKI). As always, there's an invitation for you to tell us what's important to you now, as you navigate uncharted waters of online engagement and learning design. Please feel free to make contact directly or leave comments below. You may also wish to print off the flyer for your staffroom and feel free to tell your friends and colleagues!
See you online!
