Kia ora tātou

This week, I was appointed at the Menza Digital Kaiārahi as part of the Networks of Expertise partnership between MENZA and the Ministry of Education. This small part-time role is designed to support music educators to connect and network digitally and develop teacher capacity in using digital tools and platforms. One of the main ways I will be doing this is through live-streamed workshops via the MENZA Facebook page. (The first one is on Monday 6th at 10am) Afterwards the videos and resources will be available in the MENZA website members area.

I look forward to continuing to help the music education community in New Zealand in this role, particularly in supporting teachers move from panicking that they have to teach online with tools and platforms they are unfamiliar with, to a place where they feel more enabled as music educators in a new digital classroom.
