Visarts summary to the 2nd December 2018
Kia ora koutou,
It appears that the ASATA Visual Arts Day and Hui was a hit and there have been many other PD opportunities both formal and informal taking place. A highlight for me last week was catching up with a group of local Art teachers and running into a department who were meeting off-site at the same venue. It is a great time of year to make the time to connect with other Art teachers in your region over a coffee.
A particular focus for many schools and Communities of Learning is wellbeing. Our schoolis lucky to have a cohesive, positive, supportive community of over 100 staff - but it takes effort. From social media and discussions with friends others aren’t so lucky….
