Kia ora koutou,

The news last week of the passing of Peter Peryer will have saddened many who valued his contribution to photography in Aotearoa and also those who have worked alongside him. I was fortunate enough to be tutored by Peter briefly during my Fine Arts Degree and thought the obituary on behalf of the Arts Foundation was very fitting.


Other recent news included the announcement that Marilyn Webb has been honoured at Te Waka Toi Awards as the supreme winner, rightful recognition for an artist who said she thought she was "past award age" at the age of 81.




This ‘Banksy’ tree posted on Reddit about an “art center in my hometown” tickled my fancy at this time of year...
