It’s the first week back and the list has been busy! But first, have you done anything about the NCEA review? This is a question to everyone reading this email. How the last three years of high school are assessed, impacts what happens in education at Primary, Intermediate and afterwards at Tertiary level. Thread of the week was a request for thoughts on vocalists performing whilst reading lyrics of their phone. I think it was a record 14 responses within an hour! Please contribute to the follow up in the thread, about advice for iPad holders for microphone or music stands.

Steve began a thread asking for a review of the current Jazz competitions and finished with a call for a National Jazz Competition with the same level of recognition as the Big Sing.
