Kia ora tātou,
This week I met with just on 20 secondary music teachers in Invercargill and Dunedin as part of the Regional Arts Partnerships. Subject-specific professional development is rare in New Zealand and for many at the workshop, it was a great opportunity to take time out of their busy days to learn about new ideas that can be taken directly back into the classroom.
I’m looking forward to continuing around the country, with Christchurch and Hokitika next week.
