The Annual Hook-line-and-sing-a-line competition has been launched this week. Entries close on the 14th March for creating the song. Mark the 31st of May in your diary to perform the winning song.

General

·         Olivia shared the online Jam Studio. Usable across all levels.

·         NZ Music with Maori Instruments was discussed and a great Facebook group shared.

·         NZ Music Commission Music Mentoring applications are now open for Whanganui, Bay of Plenty, Northland and Dunedin.

·         Music notation input alternatives.

·         Auckland Secondary Schools Jazz Competition 2016 is running from the end of July and into August.

Secondary

·         Scholarship Music was discussed including catering to contemporary musicians.

·         Level 1 Score Reading Resources.

Professional Development

·         4-12 year olds Playing Our Way Into Music -  5 March NAPIER
