Welcome to the newest members of Musicnet. This is probably a good time for many of you to have a look at the guidelines and frequently asked questions listed here. It includes how to make a great post, reply and what to do when you want to change your email or unsubscribe.  

I’d like to give an extra push this week to support World Music Day (21st June) in your region. If you’re in Hamilton, Gerry would like to hear from you. If you are elsewhere in the country, share what you are doing on this thread.

Summary as to 13 June

• Level 2 Collaborative Composition help was sought.

• Graham want to hear from Music departments that use Microsoft OneNote.

• Musicals for an all-girls school were shared.

• A workbook to accompany the online Contemporary Music Course was shared by Janice.

• Wendy posted a question about Level 3 Arrangement with Ableton Live.

• A virtual field trip with NZ Opera and Madame Butterfly is being offered.

• Positions Available - HOD Whakatane High, 0.6 at TeKura for Term 3 and 4.

• Katrina is searching for resources or teachers of workshops on Modern Acapella. She is also looking for simple arrangements to start her students off on.

• The deadline for Stickytarday entries for the $250 prize is the end of this Term.

• The Grade Score Marking thread had a post from NZQA.

• 2 for 1 tickets are available for tomorrow’s Pacific Music Awards in Auckland.

• Michelle is after a SATB score or something similar of ‘A Whole New World’.

Thread of the week was the discussion of the best metronome and tuner apps.
