Kia ora tātou,

For some of you, you are in the middle of regional and national competitions: The Big Sing and Chamber Music NZ being two of them. I braved the wind and cold to be part of the New Zealand School of Music’s Jazz Competition which was held in conjunction with the Wellington International Jazz Festival. Students not only saw some of the world's’ best Jazz Musicians, but had workshops with them and a few even jammed with them.

This week, be it singing in a Cathedral, strumming on stage in front of a Marshal Stack or trading 4-bar solos on an alto sax, they are all opportunities that are created by music teachers and professionals like you.

Summary as to 29th May

Ross shared his Grade Score Marking for NCEA Level 1 Set Works. I have sought clarification from NZQA on this and will share when they reply.
