Once again here is is a few of my latest gems that I have discovered recently on the internet. Just dip into the ones that interest you. There is something for everyone.

·         Wordshake A fun way to test your ability to make words, British Council , Learn English Kids


·         Basic English conversations  by Kenneth Beare  on esl.about.com.  Basic English conversations help beginning learners build basic English skills. Each conversation group includes a few short conversations introducing basic English phrases. These short dialogues are ideal as models for beginners to begin speaking English.

·         http://inclusive.tki.org.nz/ Have you checked out this latest TKI  site ? It provides New Zealand educators with practical strategies, suggestions and resources to support learners with diverse needs.

·         Culture crossing Guide website where you can learn about the main differences between two diverse cultures


·         Transfer Charts – These charts address language transfer issues between English and Chinese, Haitian Creole, Hmong, Korean Vietnamese and  Spanish. The Language Structure Transfer Chart explains grammar differences to identify points of negative transfer. This will help you understand why the error is occurring so that you can design appropriate instruction. The Phonics Transfer Chart compares the sounds of English to those of the same six languages. In your instruction, devote particular practice to sounds that do not exist, or exist with different symbols, in students’ primary languages.
