    Kia Ora,

We are wanting to begin integrating technology into some of our classrooms at school. We are going to begin by approaching the BoT for some money to purchase equipment. We have a year 6-8 class with some high-learning needs students amongst them. At this stage we are looking at Chrome Books and Ipads - however we don't know much about either of them and their benefits in the classroom (in writing in particular). Are you able to offer me some brief insight into chrome books and ipads??

Thank you for raising this question. It is certainly one that others are grappling with. The advisory is available to provide support tailored to your school. If you are happy for us to do so, we can open a query for you in the advisory helpdesk and one of our team will get back to you shortly.  Alternatively you are welcome to log the query yourself on behalf of the school via www.connectedlearning.org.nz

    Thanks
