Mōrena e hoa mā
This week we are looking at digital technologies to enhance te reo Māori learning and teaching. To start, Tellagami is a mobile app (ios and Android) that lets you create and share a quick animation. Tellagami is a great way for students to share their mahi in a non-threatening way and hear themselves speaking te reo Māori.
Hei tauira - Here's an example
To extend the use of Tellagami Anthony Faitaua created this resource.
And this excellent post from Allanah King using Tellagami and the SAMR Model.

KIa ora tātou,
I have been using Tellagami with a group of boys I'm working with at Puniho Pā in Taranaki. The boys enjoy Tellagami because it allows them to be creative through adding their own background photo and audio. The boys who are shy among the group find Tellagami a great way to share their ideas. Please check this post from Beyond the Classroom:

Thanks for sharing how you used Tellagami in your mahi. An excellent example of it in action and demostrates all the possibilities.
