e-Learning Round-Up | 17 September 2014

Tēnā koutou, talofa lava, malo e lelei and welcome to the latest e-Learning pānui from across the VLN.

There's still a few more Enabling e-Learning events happening before the end of Term 3, so don't miss out. These include:

Smile WEBINAR: Personalising Learning, Thursday 18 September, 3.45-4.45pm

Some would argue personalising learning is one key trend that underpins all effective teaching and learning pedagogy. Want to know more? Come and join Mary-Anne Murphy and Rachel Bolstad as we discuss understandings around personalising learning, and explore how shifting the 'Locus of Control' can transpire into classroom practice. This webinar is currently supported by a thread in the Enabling e-Learning | Leadership groupREGISTER NOW

SmileFORUM:Home-school partnerships to get parents/whānau to contribute to curriculum development, 1- 26 September

A school curriculum should address the needs and interests of the school community. How can we use technologies to support and encourage parents and whānau to participate in and contribute towards developing the school curriculum? Come join us in Enabling e-Learning | Beyond the Classroom group to discuss how the school curriculum can be developed in consultation with the wider community.

Connected educator month
