e-Learning Round-Up | 13th November 2012

Social networking Tēnā koutou and welcome again to this week's e-Learning Round-Up.

It is very rewarding to see how the Enabling e-Learning community is growing steadily, where community members help each other with a variety of e-learning requests and queries. If you feel compelled to post a story you feel passionate about or ask a question to solve a problem, chances are someone else will most definitely find value in what you share or be able to help you out. As Nathaniel Louwrens says,

The value in this community for me (as well as other communities such as Twitter) is the sharing and the questioning. Finding out what others have done/tried/read, and questioning what works and what doesn't. It's also about the thinking and possibly theorising about what could work or what changes could be made to make things better.

Karen would also be delighted if you could tell her what you think of the VLN as a space for you to learn @ http://bit.ly/RdCvA7.

Have a great week everyone - hei konā mai,

KarenTessa & Catriona |  Blended e-Learning Online Team

Badge for e-Member of the WeekThis week, it's congratulations to....Iain Cook-Bonney. Iain has made a number of contributions to the community groups over time, including sharing a recent experience in the App Sharing thread.

Iain is an ICT Facilitator in Dunedin, working with primary schools. He says he is passionate about ICT in education, is a bit of a 'pioneer' and likes to try out new things. He is mainly interested in cloud computing and mobile computing. Thank you for sharing your ideas and expertise with us, Iain.

Each week, we like to say thank you by nominating a community member for active participation in the Enabling e-Learning / VLN Groups. They can download and add an Enabling e-Learning badge to their profile.
